Behind the Scenes
Because I'm calling out tomorrow to catch up on work, today is my last day of this assistantship for perhaps the entire summer and until September. And if I don't come back here, maybe (doubtfully) my last day forever? I'll probably end up back here in September- and 65% chance of being here in the summer too, but what's wrong with fantasizing?!
My boss asked me to attend a grievance meeting from 1-4:30pm about a student who feels her professor inappropriately yelled at her and wrongly graded her. She is also claiming it to be a race thing. The professor, student, and other committee members will attend, so this will be very interesting! I really get a kick out of "behind-the-scenes" or underlying information, which is probably why I'm a clinical psychologist-in-training. It's why I love reading about movie trivia, seeing how things are made and operate, and hearing the details!
