Have you heard about the fire going on? It's in Sunland and it's pretty gnarly.
Two fire fighters have lost their lives already. Families were refusing to leave their homes, but now the fire has gotten so bad that they need to be rescued, except fire fighters aren't letting rescuers through because the fires have gotten so bad. Stupid people. My family has been threatened by fires time&time again and let me tell you that when the fire fighters are telling you to leave, you should. The fire fighters are honest with you; if the fire is bad, they'll let know. And if you want to sit tight, they'll tell you if it's a good idea or not. Don't think you know better than they do because you don't.
I'm pretty far from the fire right now, about 30 minutes or so. I'm not in any danger, but I'm pretty sad for the families of the fire fighters that lost their lives. This could have been prevented, as all fires could have been prevented, and people losing homes and loved ones is a sad thing, but no one is going to learn a lesson from this.
