I feel super productive today (ignore the fact that I'm updating this at work). But anyway, it all started when I got up and made a wonderful HOMEMADE breakfast for me and Mo. It consisted of tater tots, scrambled eggs for Mo, poached eggs for myself, sausage and cinnamon raisin toast. I put in a load of laundry before I left, and managed to clean the kitchen. It was great.
Along with that, I'm working on the most awesome project at the moment. I get to write a paper on the whole stem cell research/debate that's going on. The paper is going to be put on our website as a basic info kind of thing, but it's still really cool. I've learned a lot of interesting things and am having tons of fun doing what I doing. Did you know that if researchers can figure out how to control direct differentiation of the embroyonic cells then they can treat things including vision and hearing loss? Whenever I hear about stem cell reserach, I hear about how they can treat things such as parkinson's and diabetes, but I didn't know that vision and hearing was involved too. That's so awesome!!!!
Ok...time for more reading!!
