Yes, I have a new journal that Ive been using since college, but I have to update this one.
I have an announcement....
Halli was telling me today how my honesty makes her smile and because of the fact that nobody else is like that, she appreciates me.
Im well aware that this post will attract many negative responces, but because I dont live in Maine, I dont give a shit what people say in responce to my entitled opinion,and because I am totally over thornton academy (as we all fucking should be), I'm writing this anyways.
1. I think its terribly pathetic that someone who so openly made remarks about how pathetic it is to get drunk and take pictures of it and then show them off, is now doing the same. I think its funny that even though the hipocrasy of it is so unbeleivably overwhelming, they fail to acknowledge the fact that they are, never were, and never will be any different than those they were so quick to critcize. Except for maybe the dignity that comes for those unmentioned others who at least can say they never claimed to be any different.
2. Doing coke to get skinny is really old. It belongs in the eighties. If you want to get skinny or are unhappy with your body, you really ought to seek out healthier ways. You know, especially since you criticize people who have eating disorders..
3. Its funny to me when people talk so mcuh shit about someone...a whole semesters worth and openly voice their distaste for someone and then immediately upon that person asking them to hang out, they quickly comply to the offer. Shows that youre two faced.
4. Do you really think its attractive? Do you really believe in your heart that people are going to say, "oh, wow, i really think i want to date a girl whos life is completely out of control and who drinks more liquid than a fish!" I mean come ON, I thought before that you had simply misplaced your self respect, but apparently you've lost it completely.
5. There are only a handful of people I respect AND like anymore.And sadly, theyre not in Maine. So, if you see me and I'm a complete bitch to you-- it's because I don't like you. It's because I think its patehtic that you've all turned your lives to shit and you've all given up on your dreams.Your goals. Your fabricated versions of future successes that you played out iny our heads like you were some rockstar or film mogul because high school led you to believe that because you were "unique" or "original" you'd make it. And maybe you were.But, doing lines of coke, drinking excessively, taking half naked pictures of yourself, making out with your friends ex boyfriends and then bragging about it non stop isn't original. Its been done before. And, usually, its been done by those said people AFTER they make it-- not before.
Yeah, this is harsh, but I'll just use the excuse you'll all combat me with when responding to this-- "It's my journal. If you dont like it, dont read it."
