Good stuff. It's part of our mission as journalists to oppose all the meanness in the world, or-to use the timeless phrase from I don't know whom-to "comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable."

Nicely written. Quite honestly, I've read some powerfully written stuff as a result of his death, and thankfully, haven't seen too much of the ugly side of human nature.

It's been very eye-opening.
