"Life continues, and some mornings, weary of the noise, discouraged by the prospect of the interminable work to keep after, sickened also by the madness of the world that leaps at you from the newspaper, finally convinced that I will not be equal to it and that I will disappoint everyone-all I want to do is sit down and wait for evening. This is what I feel like, and sometimes I yield to it." --Albert Camus
The world is going insane right now-- and then I take a step back and realize that for a huge number of people, this fear and insanity is a daily state of being. It really makes me realize how privileged our part of the world normally is, how lucky I am to be worrying about car troubles, about asking for a raise, when some people are literally scared for their lives, worrying about getting home or where a terrorist is in relation to the people they love. Trying to get work done right now is unfathomable, but get it done I must.
