I like to do something really cool when I add the milk: quickly stir the tea/coffee in a circular motion until it's starting to look like a whirlpool; remove spoon (quickly so the liquid keeps swirling), then pour just a bit of milk into the exact centre of it (centre of the "whirlpool", not the mug) and instead of immediately dispersing through the tea, it stays there in the middle as a little spinning cloud because of the centrifugal force (I think that's the right terminology...). It looks like a little cyclone type thing. If you can get it right, it looks really cool.
