If you could travel back in time to spend a day with someone, who would it
be and why?
Well. There are so many people. I would really have to think about it for hours before I could answer properly, but for now I'll say William Shakespeare, as he was on my mind the other day after reading an interesting theory about him.
My reason is that so much mystery surrounds his life - including the question of whether William Shakespeare was actually a real person: The theory I recently read was that he was actually an aristocrat, masquerading as someone else so that he had an outlet to really express his true take on things - and I would like to find out the truth. Then I would write a book about what REALLY happened and who he REALLY was and exactly what he did, and make lots and lots of money.
(Btw I picked this thing up on my "LJ Central" page (the one you're directed to after you log in from the "home" page), there was a little box near the top of the page that said "Writer's Block" and that question is what was in it. I clicked "answer" and it automatically set up an LJ entry page with the subject box and the question already filled in.)
I go to Perth tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. Noone's burst into tears yet, I'm dreading the moment when someone does, I'm not very good with that stuff when it comes to my immediate family. I am feeling very soppy and a little bit sick in my stomach, like just before you go on the Tumbler.
time travel day,
