I understand people want better wages and benefits for employees, but the higher cost of doing business means you will be paying more for your food (I'm using the term "food" very loosely in the case of restaurants) or whatever service is being provided. Are you prepared to pay more, or take care of those services for yourself?
The U.S. is not a pure example of capitalism at work. We have a gluttonous government parasitizing its host as much as possible without killing it -- the government is an entity that desires to legitimize itself and grow as big as it can, and it will take and it will manipulate; that is it's nature. Until taxation is acknowledged as the evil it is and ALL funding, of any kind, is completely voluntary, we will never know how well capitalism can work, nor absolute freedom.
