I did not say there should be plant-based subsidies; I am saying there should be no subsidies, period, no taxes, no governments intervening and telling us what to think, only the organizing of citizens in a time of need for the duration of that need.

Under socialism, everyone may "own" the government and means of production, but someone has to make the decisions--someone has to be in control--or else it breaks down, which is why it lends itself so well to totalitarian bureaucracies; and there is no power without corruption. Unless you are part of the power elite making those decisions, you are not free and must subject yourself to their rules or be ostracized or imprisoned. No animals will be free until all animals are free, including us. In an anarcho-capitalist society, there is no power elite, no subsidies; no corporate corruption; all must cooperate with one another for anyone to thrive, and maybe then we can cooperate with the other animals.

Just to stay on point, I am arguing that capitalism itself is not opposed to veganism. Socialism sounds like a nice idea because it guarantees that basic necessities are met for all, but that would also happen under an anarcho-capitalist society.
