So, what does one do when one has the following:
1) Several dishwasher loads of dishes that need to be done.
2) A kitchen that is an ungodly mess (we're talking "new life-form" experiments are occurring without any intention or provocation on the owner's part)
3) INTENSE spring cleaning of the entire apartment, floor-to-ceiling & front-to-back & including carpet steaming/cleaning, that must be done over the next 2 weeks or one will die buried under all the mess, oh, and not be able to start on the very important "
Apartment Therapy" that one's been meaning to do for almost 2 years.
4) A kitchen sink that has decided to "disembowel" itself, leaving one standing in an ocean of hot water (as some of the above mentioned dishes were being hand-washed) and a plumber that has yet to show up.
The answer: wash everything in the bathtub! What??!!! If it's good enough for washing yourself, it's good enough for washing your dishes and using the water for household cleaning.....BUT, I do have day-mares of that "Seinfeld" episode with Kramer "cooking" while showering. EEeewww.
