Things that SUCK about Edinburgh:
- You have to have exact change for the bus and a day pass doesn't cover night busses.
- Pretty shoes are not practicle.
- The wind and damp make my hair go HUGE.
- You can't buy alcohol in shops after half 10.
- Hills... Stairs... Wind... Wet cobbles... Ouch.
Things that are AWESOME about Edinburgh:
- Tea Tree Tea and Juice Almighty.
- Mist is fun.
- It's a small city so cabs can be pretty cheep.
- Raincoats, walking shoes and frizzy hair seem socially acceptable for people under 40, to a certain extent.
- People are pale like me! So much so that the shade of max factor known as porceline, which there is always loads of in London shops, is soled out almost everywhere.
- Chip shops sell sweets and sometimes beer.
- People are MUCH nicer than in London.
- Millions of charity shops, junk shops and good independent shops.
- The main supermarket here is the Co-op and they beat Tesco in so many ways.
- I can get childhood treats like german biscuits and tablet.
