Listen to this.

If we wanted to stage it like they've been performing it in early runs, we could teach all on stage (21, natch) an instrument to play together around the singing.

You gotta admit, it would be cool! (Dibs on a solo.)

we doan need no steenking front man, oop eep ork ah ah

Oh my GOD, this is amazing, we have to do this! What is this FROM?

You've got the solo, absolutely.

I think I'm hooked on this song. You pusher, you!

Dude, Jane, you run a guerrilla musical theater organization and you didn't hear that Green Day was staging 'American Idiot' on Broadway coming up?

You are SO lucky you have me, or they would take away your curly monkey tail. And you would be a Sad Monkey.

Seriously, I think someone's pirated the test stagings in San Francisco on YouTube in places. One of my friends who's out on the West Coast clued me in.

I've been out of the country for a month, and I don't get /all/ the musical theater news. It's why I've got friends who tell me all about it later, JayKay. (Good thing your last name isn't Rowling.)

NO! I LOVE MY CURLY MONKEY TAIL! NO SAD MONKEYS!

I'll be having some YouTube fun later, I think.

JayKay is a new one, but I'll roll with it.

You can keep your monkeyshines, I won't tell on you. Especially listen to 'Before the Lobotomy/Extraordinary Girl' and their 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'. But the '21 Guns' is the best big number, and the schtick is big and obvious. It's a great big audio assault, every cast member at least with guitar - at least until they restage it again, since making EVERYONE learn the guitar part is a pain in the ass.
