Life Changing

Sometimes, Life never changes.
The days are the same,
The nights are the same,
The afternoons are the same,
The weeks are the same.

Months and years fly by
With out a second glance
Until I'm looking back saying
"What happened to today?"

But then, life can change.
Every day becomes diffrent,
Every night becomes an adventure,
Every afternoon is filled with life,
Every week makes me glad to be alive.

In that time,
Months and years are a blessing.
I look back on them
And this becomes my prayer:

"Thankyou God
For this time in my life.
Thankyou God
For the friends that I've made.
Thankyou God
For changing my life every day
Whether I realize it or not.
For You truly bless my heart,
And You alone satisfy."

So when my life never changes,
When my days are the same,
When my nights are the same,
When my afternoons are the same,
When my weeks are the same,

When months and years fly by,
And I barley notice,
I need to reflect on this:
God is unchanging,
But He is also an adventure.

Every day,
Every night,
Every afternoon,
Every week that I'm still alive
Christ is changing me,
And in Him I am new.
