God, I cried so much when he died-'K, I'm going to stop babbling now, but tell you, that this? Was GREAT.

You deserve a crown and one of those velvet cape things. That's how good this was.

Anyway, you and fading_spark are partly responsible for this fic, I'll have you know. I've been following both of your Dick/Mac works, and while I'm not a 'shipper and my immediate reaction to the pairing was "...WTF?", the idea of interactions between these two characters intrigued me. Because their lives are kind of intertwined now, and we never got to see their (full) reactions to the outcome of Beaver.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The season finale was so packed, I have no idea where they would have found room. Especially since a reaction from Dick, while a stock chararacter, would be really complex in spite of -- or perhaps because of -- that simplicity. A lot of emotions and, uh, brain cell usage would be involved on his part.
