Two seperate bunnies claimed this one - so I wrote for both.
Kaisa Tryggvasen slowly stirred, propping herself up on an elbow. Clearly last night was a blur since she couldn't remember a damn thing about it - how much had she drunk again to get over the memories of losing /him/? She winced as a headache flared to life and she just hunkered back down into the bed, pulling the sheet over her head, clearly not at all ready to face the world.
"Hey, sunshine," a voice called, one that had a whiskey washed thrum to it. "I saw you moving."
"Go away," came the muffled response, "it's too early."
Throttle shook his head and lightly reached over, pulling the covers down. "Sunshine, it's clear past noon," he countered.
Kaisa glared blearily up at the six foot mouse before she glanced over at the clock. Damn it all if he wasn't right. She merely stuck her tongue out him and yanked the sheet up again.
Throttle sighed. Why did Charley-girl have to ask him to watch her? Modo would have been a better choice - he was able to deal with stuff like this. He leaned over and grabbed the sheets again, pulling them down and holding them down. "Come on, Kaisa," he said quietly. "Enough games."
Kaisa said nothing but finally allowed him to pull her up out of bed. She knew she was too old be acting like this but she wasn't quite ready to deal with anyone after last night.
Snake-Eyes didn't think he'd ever be grateful for the injury that cost him his voice - but right now, seeing Hinata standing there, curled into Itachi's arms, smiling up at him with such love in her gaze. He closed his eyes tightly, wishing he had just joined Shana on that mission so he didn't have to come back. There was so much he wanted to tell her and couldn't. He glanced over at the couple that had been the cause of his being pulled back to this world. A soft smirk crossed his mangled face - it was about time Teme finally married Sachi-imoto.
Tommy glanced over at his sword brother and arched a brow. "You okay?" he asked quietly.
Snake-Eyes merely gave a slight shrug - not wanting to discuss this at all.
Tommy shrugged in return and turned to watch the wedding.
