"So, playing Rapunzel?" Dread called up to his current lover.
"Oh, shut up," she snapped, crossing her arms over her chest. "Your half-sister is a real bitch, I'll have you know."
Dread groaned. Terrific. If it wasn't his half-brother causing him some new and wild form of headache, it would be that half-sister of his meddling where she ought not be meddling. "So, just come down to me. You do have your exo-wings, right?"
Nora's glare would have been enough to smelt iron. "No, Dread, I don't have them. Your sister stole my gear and slapped me in this dress. Do I look like the kind of woman who'd willing wear a pink dress? Pink!"
Dread had to admit she did look kind of cute in the pink dress but knew enough not to comment on that. He liked his head where it was, thank you very much. His golden eyes glanced over and noticed the flower growing on the tower - Jacob's ladder. He kept his face impassive but internally he was laughing his head off. Jacob's ladder - come down to me - which was exactly what he was trying to get Nora to do. "I suppose I could try the.."
"Unless you want the couch for the rest of your natural life," she shot.
"Oh, but it'll be entertaining," Dread countered.
