It is odd for a mall to be closed so early on a Saturday evening, and yet this one is.
Pippi sat across the street on a bus stop bench, finishing off an ice cream cone from the food court, waiting for the security guards to finish locking the place up.
According to the employment records they'd "obtained", there was only one security guard on duty on any given night, usually the same security guard.
Actually, not usually. Always the same security guard. Every night.
