Cheese Pudding

CHEESE PUDDING

10 slices of bread, buttered (crust optional)

3 eggs

3 cups of milk

½ tsp salt (more if using unsalted butter)

2 cups cheddar cheese

Cut or tear bread into smaller pieces and arrange half along the bottom of a baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese over the bread and repeat with a second layer of bread and cheese. Mix the wet ingredients with the salt, then pour over the bread and cheese. Let sit overnight in the fridge or press down the bread into the liquid with a spatula. Cook at 350 degrees for 45 mins - 1 hour.
