the people that surround my mind
today was supposed to be my last nite here, and i guess it sort of still is. i leave wednesday at 5am (in band time, thats more like 11am, however we can always hope that maybe things will get under way like they're supposed to)
being home has been ....
i wish i had more time and lived closer to certain people. but at the same time, i got a lot of much needed rest and at other times i got really bored and wanted to continue travelling and bury myself so deeply into the world of music. i've discovered a few things about myself since being home, things i already knew, but things that just kind of made me need to see and realize.
we're leaving until march sometime. we're in the midst of deciding on doing South by southwest which i am totally in favor for, however, we also just got offered some canadian dates around the same time as SXSW. and to be honest i would prefer to be in texas during my birthday (which lands on the same time frame) but i mean i guess what i want and whats best for the band are obviously two different things. either/or i'll be happy to just be the nomadic hippy that i am.
i think i had a whole lot more to say but, i've been drinking red wine and my mind is slightly clouddead.
i'll continue this another time, somewhere from the road.
in other news i have asked a couple of my friends who accel in the art design field to help create some bad ass fully down t shirt designs. im really excited to see how they turn out, regardless if the band ends up using them or not.
for all those that i got to see over the holidays, i can assure you our time together was not nearly long enough. however, im glad i at least got to see your faces and see that you were doing alright (at least for that night)
