Weekend Update (with Stronae Aredante)
Skip=400? Sheesh. Clearly, I missed something. :)

BestFriend, SS, JW, and I went to the local Bridge club again, only this time, he and I tanked, and they soared. And I'm glad for that, because they now *know* they're making progress.
My moment of glory was the very first hand. The bidding, starting with me:
1C-(1H)-P-(1S)-5C-(X)-P-(P)-XX-Float
What was I fool enough to redouble on?

The clubs split 3-1, but luckily, LHO led a diamond, and as a consequence, I wound up making. +1100 and a top. :)
Most of the other hands were kinda bad, as both BestFriend and I made some rather silly mistakes.

Computer show, wherein I got some nice parts and a computer for Dad, now that he's tasted the forbidden fruit of last week, and wants more. He'll be thrilled with his new system. :)
