wow. i live. and i just realized that somehow LJ hung for dear life onto a post draft from way way a long time ago back around christmas-ish when i'd gotten violently ill.
that was kinda funny.
anyhows, we now haves the internets in our apartment. on the up side, yay. on the down side, it would appear that AOL in all their infinite wisdom and assholishness have once again left the mac users in the dust to die again...
as the mac version of aim is only at 4.7 and the PC version is up to 6.0. Normally I wouldn't care, but the two versions are not compatable at all, hooray.
That is to say, ALL incoming text from 6.0 to 4.7 is auto-formatted to black text on white background. no colors. no custom BGs of their own. and if my BG is black.. be damned if i can read ANYTHING.
curses.
at least they still have the option to download earlier versions. But that doesn't make me wanna kick them by a whole lot less. x.o
anyhow, i have work tomorrow...

which is also my anniversary...
... it sucks to spend your anniversary with literally $0.00 in your checking account, i'd like to note. the 16th can't come soon enough, so we can actually get some celebrating done... i can't wait for it. ^_^
