I'm glad someone's back. I've been biding my time for people to start writing Strokes fic again. Coz really they're still as good for it now as they were 10 years ago,

I only started writing Strokes fic myself this summer so I sympathise. {Not that any of my fic has been posted here}.

Actually in sort of a bizarre gambit to get this community up again I've been working on archiving and sorting it all so that it can be more easily navigated {coz sometimes you don't want to wade through years of fic to find the four pieces with the pairing you want which I know has gotten my friend} and then working on getting it out into the community in other parts of the internet. Coz let's be honest there are probably at least a few people who would be writing and sharing if they knew they had an audience and you only need a few people to create a community again.

It's certainly great that you're curating the community! I'm sure there's other people who'd like to join... Lj isn't as popular as it used to be, so it's a little harder for people to come across communities like this.

Oh my lord, are you really archiving? What a big job, and I must congratulate you on working so hard to spread the strokeslash love.
I am sad this community has died down. :C
I have contributed three stories to this site, but have many more stories in draft form I never got/get around to finishing :X
I should start finishing some...

But anyway. Again, thank you so much for your effort and hard work. It will be endlessly useful to have a better format for browsing this stuff and I'm impressed with your skill. I would not know where to start with such a thing. :O

Yes I really am archiving and have in fact gotten through two years of fic already. Coz this whole strokeslash delight does need to be more spread around and there really is an audience for it. Honestly I'm enjoying digging through it all coz it's like internet archaeology so it's really no problem.

Frankly the hardest thing about it thus far has been creating all the tags for the archive so that things can be sorted and easier navigated. Mostly it's just a little tedious above all else, but it does go pretty quickly when I start working on it.

Tragically my archiving speed has slowed a bit due to classes and I was mildly put off for a little bit by my friend finding someone online making fun of Strokes Slashfic, but my workload is less this semester than last and I realized that other girl wasn't worth any worry so it should start up again quite soon.

But yes you should certainly get those stories out of draft form so there's more to read.
