(no subject)
so the fourth of july turned out to be pretty great. amy picked me up and we drove to her grandmother's house. i get nervous when meeting people's families, and i really dislike my own family functions, so i was apprehensive. but they were really warm and welcoming and it was fine. its really funny though, cause they all totally thought that i was amy's new boyfriend!!! oh my god, i was like, wow. i mean, come on. i was wearing a pink shirt and my jeans were rolled up sarah lawrence on the lawn style, and we were singing the little mermaid, AND we were talking about cute boys. i mean, really...me....straight! its absurd!
the ride home was totally the best though. it was great. it was one of those times were you just feel really centered and intouch with the moment. we drove really fast on the saw mill totally dark with thewindows down, blaring the postal service. and we passed almost every fireworks display that i think westchester has... it was great, they were beautiful, and it was totally perfect.
in other news, i got an ipod on friday!! he's super pretty and really cool and my new baby. i play with him all the time and bring him everywhere with me. his name is tanner.
