Mattie Malcham is doing better, he's improving but it's going to take a lot of time.
I went to the hospital today, it was too surreal for me, so I didn't really say much.
His family is taking it a lot better than his friends is what it seemed like. His mother espcailly taking it all in such good stride. Poor little Chris Malcham, I'm glad he was just there to talk to me, I needed a familiar face to just talk to me. Mo, Emily, and Andy, are (what it seems to me) to be the hardest hit. But I had no idea what to say. What do you say? I couldn't comfort anyone, I just didn't know what to do. I felt so helpless.
So Matt lost most of his left arm. And 3 of his fingers on his right hand. He had some bleeding in his brain, so they did some surgeries today to fix that. His neck has to be in a collar for 3 months due to the tenden or nerve damage or something. But he looks so clean, there aren't any scratches on his face. He looks like the same old mattie except for the staples in his head. He's in one of those induced coma's. He doesn't know what's happened yet, and I hope to god he doesn't remember getting hit by the train. He's getting 2 more surgeries on thursday to fix the broken bones in his right hand, there going to try and take out the intibation tubes tomorrow, and hopefully going to wake him up around friday.
When you think about it, it's really the best thing that could have happened for getting hit by a train. He has no internal injuries, didn't lose his legs, he can still play soccer. Yeah he lost part of his arm, but he can have a bionic one becuase his nerves are so healthy. I'm so glad he's not dead.
And finally he was not drunk, intoxicated, high or on shrooms or anything.
I'm so fucking pissed the news and everyone is spreading all these rumors. The hospital checked him over, he was not under the fucking influence of anything.
All I want right now, is just people to just be with me.
I don't care if were not even talking, it's just nice to have someone next to you.
