The 25 SONGS I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MEME

As I answered on facebook :D

Once you have been tagged, you are supposed to write down 25 songs you cannot live without. You know, the ones you can listen to over and over and never get tired of. They don't have to be in any particular order. These are the songs that make you laugh, cry, THINK OF AN OLD FRIEND, whatever the reason. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you

To do this, go to "notes" under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 songs, tag 25 people, then click publish.

1.Stockholm Syndrome by MUSE
This is the last time I'll abandon you
And this is
The last time I'll forget you
I wish I could
Listening to this just relives me of any negative energy. Jeezus, what a song! This gives me that raging, tight, mad, ravenous feeling- this could be a make-out song. HAHA! It grips me with such intensity and I love how haunting it is and the arrangement. Fucking epic, just epic.

2.Do I Need A Reason by D’Sound
Whenever I am weary I lean on
this feeling that I have
I am so much stronger now
I LOVE this song. It’s my feel good song back in grade school.

3.Way of Difference by GLAY
dare hitori yasashisa to tsuyosa ga nakereba ikite ha ikenai to
oshiete kureta no ha sariyuku anata deshita
(the one who taught me that everyone needs strength and kindness to live
was you who was leaving me)
Oh Glay… This is one of the songs that got me into Glay and into j-rock. This reminds me of high school and one of the best things I’ve encountered in my life. Pretty much melodramatic HAHA

Alternate choice: MERMAID by GLAY
this choice has a similar reason to Way of Difference :)

4.Psychopsilocybin by Incubus
He dont need no funny money, his love is all his power.
Half-naked and full witted, and two weeks less a shower!
It was this early funky raw sound that got me interested in Incubus back in the day. I used to listen to this song a lot whenever I was cleaning my room. my grade 6 girl friends had no idea who they were back in the day

5.Yesterday Once More by The Carpenters
Those old melodies
Still sound so good to me
I blame my mother. But this makes me calm every time and it goes way back when I was wee.

6.Faint by Linkin Park
I am
What I want you to want,
What I want you to feel
I never get tired of listening to this. One of their best songs ever.

7.Sick Cycle Carousel by Lifehouse
And I try to earn my way
I try to tame this mind
You better believe that I am trying to beat this
Personally I think this song is epic and just calms me down, puts me in the right ‘sane’, inspired mood.

8.Helicopter by Bloc Party
Are you hoping for a miracle? (It's not enough)
I remember Stef and Kat G and the awesome fun we used to have.

9.A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton
Just making my way, making a way
Through the crowd
I’m still obsessed with this song <3

10.Breathe by Michelle Branch
If I just breathe
Let it fill the space between
I'll know everything is alright

11. Want It All Back by The Seatbelts feat. Mai Yamane, composed by: Yoko Kanno
You said you wanted to see Paris
So I took you to the movie
"Bon Amie" or something french like that
And then you said you were embarrassed
Because I never bought you jewelry
Television shopping fixed all that
This makes me bop my head and dance. And that is a very rare occasion for me 8D

12. Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered (cover) by Rufus Wainwright
I'm wild again, beguiled again
A simpering, whimpering child again
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I
AHAHAHA i love the lyrics and the way he sings it. he's awesome <3

Alternate choice: Cigarettes & Chocolate Milk by Rufus Wainwright
and then there's those other things
which for several reasons we won't mention
everything about them is a little bit stranger
a little bit harder
a little bit deadly
first song I heard from him and i was hooked :)

13. No Such Thing by John Mayer
They love to tell you "stay inside the lines"
but something's better on the other side
I never, never get tired of this song. I miss high school D:

14. Ang Huling El Bimbo by The Eraserheads
Ngunit ang paborito
Ay pagsayaw mo ng El Bimbo
Nakakaindak, nakakaaliw
Nakakatindig balahibo
My love for this song goes waaaay back :D

15. The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage by Panic! At The Disco
Sit tight, I'm gonna need you to keep time
C'mon, just snap, snap, snap your fingers for me
Good, good, now we're making some progress
Come on just tap, tap, tap your toes to the beat
<3

16. New World by L’Arc en ciel
kensou ni magirete todoita kakusei no koe
Stand up for your final choice! Note the time of fate has come
OH Laruku~ I LOVE YOU <3

17. Final Distance by Hikaru Utada
aitai no ni mienai nami ni osarete
mata sukoshi tooku naru
(even though I want to see you, I'm pushed back by invisible waves,
a little farther from you again)
Hikki’s songs are unforgettable. She’s my first ever J-pop love.

18. The Fight Song by Marilyn Manson
Nothing suffocates you more than
the passing of everyday human events
Love this since the first time I listened to it. I heard his songs give me that thrill I need that makes me grit my teeth and relax. Not exactly a fan but I love some of his songs.

19 Do You Want To by Franz Ferdinand
Well here we are at the transmission party
I love your friends they're all so arty, oh yeah
HAHAHA <3 I love them boys and their songs that makes me go dance.

20. Around the World by Daft Punk
DAFT PUNK + Interstella 5555 = EPIC

21. DARE by Gorillaz
that's what you do baby
hold it down there
Strangely, this song makes me feel like I’m on a high and I love it. Funkadelic! HAHA

22. Nausea by BECK
Now I'm a priest teenager
On a tower of dust
I'm a dead generator
In a cloud of exhaust
I eat alone in the desert
With skulls for my pets
I rate the days, one to ten
With lead cigarettes
this song makes me feel so trippy and hyper

23. Takipsilim by Paramita
Sana'y iningatan ang pagkakataon, na noo'y tayo
Lamang.
At ang bawat sandali ay atin lamang.
Ito'y alay ko sa yo.
reminds me of fourth year HS and all the drama stuff (not necessarily romantic). I love this band and hopefully they'll release something new

Alternate choice: Girl Anachronism by Dresden Dolls
i dont necessarily believe there is a cure for this
so i might join your century but only as a doubtful guest
i was too precarious removed as a caesarian
behold the worlds worst accident
I AM THE GIRL ANACHRONISM
SHIT WHAT A SONG! IT'S RAW AND I LOVE IT FOREVER!

24. Brianstorm by the Arctic Monkeys
Cause we can't take our eyes
Off the t shirt and ties combination
Well see you later, innovator...
Then, it was my new life at Global and how I settled at first, being socially inept (yet again) while observing people. And then new lovely people came. I love this song ghed~

25. Shasta (Carrie's Song) by Vienna Teng
so far so good
but you can't go on much longer like this you know
you're all alone in this world no that's not true
the nice Christian lady told you so
Vienna's an angel <3 I remember singing this aloud in the bathroom on several occasions

Alternate choice: Every You Every Me by PLACEBO
Another love I would abuse,
No circumstances could excuse.
In the shape of things to come.
Too much poison come undone.
Cuz there's nothing else to do,
Every me and every you.
remind me of a lot of complicated angst-ridden shits HAHA but still this song is LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!
