1. As your Mac Book is mobile verify that this problem happens only at home on your network. If you go to another network or wi-fi access point, does the same thing happen? If so then it's more than likely a problem local to your machine. I would update the flash and java as well as trying to reproduce the problem over a wired as well as a wireless connection.
2. Verify that other computers connected to your local network at home are having the same problem as well. If they are then this may be a bandwidth issue, but I would first check the comment point of failure which would be your network router, followed directly but the cable modem provided by your provider. reboot both of these devices and see if that clears up the problem.
