Stimulating my economy
Got our economic stimulus package at some point this week, I guess today perhaps.
Spent it in about 5 minutes.
$200 to pay the remaining balance on my credit card (I am officially free of credit card debt as of today), and the remaining $1000 to Joel's credit card.
I've officially been stimulated. Amazing how un-gratifying that was, and I'm going to be pissed when my tax refund is $1200 lower next April.
In other news, Texas is hot.
It's hot in general, but when you're standing on someone's roof at 12:30 in the afternoon, or their attic/sauna, it's a lot hotter. Did I mention that I actually have to touch their shingles to feel for hail hits? Have you ever pressed your finger onto hot asphalt that has been sitting in the sun for hours? It hurts! My arms are already a lovely shade of brown though, yay farmer's tan!
