One of the major problems Carson and I have is trying to find common weeks for our vacation. He has to work his vacation around other store managers in his chain. It usually means he doesn't get summer weeks but that's ok. We have no kids so we can go anytime.
I have to fit mine into the schedule in my office. There are five people with more seniority than me. While I'm further up on the management chain, I still have to fit my vacation in with their vacation.
Last year, we couldn't find a common week until November. This year, it looks like we can have a week and maybe two in September. Look out beach, here we come.
