I just stayed late (well, didn't leave early) at lab to hash out a trivial problem, details of which are too intricate, abstruse and confusing to mention here, and so I leave with a greater understanding of the practical mechanics of a tangent galvenometer adn the satisfaction of understanding something which previously confused me, but also the frustration of having gotten confused over something really fairly simple which didn't impact my completion of the lab and could have gone unnoticed with no harm done.
I think I need a walk. This would be in keeping with my general pattern of blowing off homework and other things needing to be done. I will have to break that pattern or I will possibly fail physics and certainly not do well at it, and as I want my parents' continued approval and financial support failing physics would be really bad.
On the plus side, I have virtually no carry-overs (aside from homework) from before spring break, and the health form saga has reached a happy conclusion.
Looking forward to seeing Ari and El on Saturday.
