So Arial has been baking bread and has made some REALLY good stuff. Since we are trying to be more sustainable this is perfect for us, but not so much for my "lifestyle" change. I found that I love fresh baked bread with honey. Now one serving of this for a snack is NO problem and actually good for me since it's whole wheat bread. BUT today I am PMSed and working on reimaging Arial's computer and I ate 2 servings plus LOTS of honey. I did really well for breakfast & lunch but just failed at the snack inbetween lunch and dinner. Now I am pretty much maxed on my calories for the day. I could choose to eat dinner but I think I should punish myself for giving in. So I will only have a little fruit or vegi for dinner. I instructed Arial and Freaklet to have some leftovers.
On a good note Arial and I found a great indoor pool nearby that is technically a state park. It's very inexpensive and we will be swimming 3x a week now. Today was tough but LOTS of fun. Arial was a competitve swimmer most of her childhood so its great to enjoy the water WITH someone for a change. I truly love the water and we both LOVE to swim. So we are sharing one of our favorite past times.
I didn't get to hike on Tuesday because of a threat of rain. Monday I didn't want to go because of the holiday. We will be hiking next week instead.
My cardio exercise now burns about 3000+ calories per week, when 1500 is recommended. Good for me, I just want to have an active lifestyle. NOW this is the life for me. Swim 3 days a week & once a week day hike, and also light gardening almost daily. Wooo Hoooo!
