What a year, eh?

So, um... yeah, 7 minutes into a shiny new year here in South Mississippi and it's long time no post. Don't have much to review as it seems my life has remained a steady drone of school -> work -> sleep -> rinse -> repeat and the days blur into one another. About the most eventful thing is my lateral promotion from maintenance tech to process tech. Now instead of working on all of the equipment in the plant, I'm responsible for all of the underlying processes we use to make the solar panels. That, and I finally got through Multivariable Calculus with a B this past Summer. Now if I can get through Physics 2 with its magnetism and electronics - third time's the charm, right? Anyway, in an effort to give my brain a break I took up sewing/quilting and needle felting - stuff that didn't require a lot of calculation and if I got it wrong, wouldn't cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to wind up in the junk pile or another semester to get right.
All that said, I have been trying to keep up with everyone, at least on Twitter. I haven't said much in reply, but know that I'm cheering y'all on or commiserating with ya. And thank you Pavaneofstars and Mercury973 for the Christmas cards, they were lovely and unexpected.
And now it's an hour into the new year.... hopefully this will be the start of re-engaging with the rest of the world.........
