dreaming of spring
Or at least warm enough weather that I can start planting things without the cold bite of freezing temperatures killing everything off.
Got my Richters herb catalog in the mail yesterday and have been ooh-ing and ahh-ing over it since then. Number one on the list is some garlic - there's one called Fireball that has a purple 'wrapper' and a spicy flavor. Maybe a Ginger, Mojito, or Margarita Mint to toss into some lemon-mint sorbet. And since I am my father's daughter, I have an interest in odd vegetables... so I found a place online to get purple, red, yellow and white carrots, green grape tomatoes and zucchini called "eight ball" whose fruit only grow to a 2 inch diameter.
I'm going to need additional planting beds.
