Do I really need that degree......
Actually, do I really need to subject myself to extra-curricular research lab? Granted, it'll look good on the resume, and it gives me a chance to do more than just classes, but I don't really care to get wrapped up with my professor's drive to get more undergrad / graduate research papers done in his name. It's definitely one area of academia that I'm not fond of. Publish or Perish... bleah.
So yeah, I just spent the last two hours pulling an abstract on electrostatic discharge testing out of my ass while half dead from a head cold. Waking up every couple of hours because I'm about to drown in my own snot is not conducive to sharp, intellectual thinking... so I'm surprised he accepted the damn thing with only two word changes.
