Round up (w/ pics)

So, it's over a week later and I'm back with pictures of my day with the WWII bombers. That was an amazing day! Met a guy who was a B-24 tail gunner and a lady who was a B-17 mechanic as well as getting to crawl around inside the B-24 and B-17 (the B-25 was too small to allow people into). I wish I'd had about $850 to burn because I'd have gotten myself and Dad up in the B-17 for a flight around Hattiesburg, but alas I will have to hope they'll come back some other time when I've won the lottery.

One of my favorite pics:

I have a few more favorites, but I don't want to make this a hugely image heavy post, so go check out the gallery here.

While waiting for some more beads to finish the necklace that'll go with my GW dinner/dessert party dress, I put together a different one. I'll likely be ordering a few more pendants like this one from here because I love the look of them. I especially like this one and this one because they make me think of henna tattoos, which I love. It's also why I got the pendant I did for this piece:

Vancouver time is almost here and I'm almost entirely not ready for it:

I'll be dragging the suitcase out in an hour or two to clean out the cat hair and might start actually packing it too.

The RodneyBear personal shield is completely dead now, though if I can find a replacement LED in this mess of a craft room, I might get it working again in the next 24 hours.

I think I need to go out and get a pair or two of new pants. While I didn't do as well as Hatusu (a huge congratulations, by the way!) I am to the point where some of my size 16 pants might actually fall off if I wiggle the hips just right. I could just get a belt, but I'm more than ready to fit comfortably back into a size 14. If I keep it up, maybe by Peg 3 I'll have to have a completely new wardrobe.

Anyway, I found my Pegasus 2 packing list last night, so I'll reuse that, in between fits of soldering and plastic melting (I also finished a ZedPM mold, so I might have that ready for the con too).

con, coolness, jewelry
