Stomping my heart into the floor. This is just so GOOD, which means it's utterly wrenching and really disturbing and hard to read, but at the same time, getting to the end of an update is like NO DON'T STOP! I think I was holding my breath at some points. Oh god, nooo, he's got the time bomb going. DDDDD:

This is so painful and terrible! By which I mean I love i! You've communicated how absolutely crushing the reality of this pregnancy is: Jensen's going to die, it's Jared and Gen's fuck-up, there's no way out for any of them. I love that Jared still has some shadows of his old way of thinking, too, but that they keep getting dashed against observable reality. It's so good! I'm already gasping for more.

Thank you! Painful and terrible are the most delightful descriptors (I'm not joking) and I'm really glad just how terrible it is came through, and especially that what I was doing with Jared worked- he's not suddenly all on-board of 'they're just like us, yay humans etc'.
