mum called this morning and got on my case about... is that someone at the door?
wait a bit...
no, it was a man going into the apartment next door. weird. only just now did i realise that kats neighbours were actually here. he had a bag, so he might have just come back from a holiday.

so yea. mum got on my case about organising flights home. ive organised the ones out of germany but there are loose ends in america that i need to fix up. so i'll do that tomorrow. but ive been saying that for a week. i just dont want to leave.

kat went to work today. she got up at 2 and again at 4 and realised i wasnt lying when i said its as hard as anything to sleep on her couch. its evil, that couch. good for sitting and curling up watching movies and reading books, bad for sleeping.

the tv was also delivered today. the men... the poor, poor ugly delivery men. of course, i was the picture of refinement in my pjs and unwashed state, but screw you buddy. they had me sign a form, and he said something in german, and i nodded along as if i understood (i did kinda, he was pointing out that delivery had already been paid for) and then said goodbye in german and they left, and i laughed and danced around a little and let out a couple of woops. its all very exciting. the most hard core electronic thing ive ever bought is a cell phone. following that, just cds and dvds. but i go on holiday to the other friggen hemisphere and i buy a tv. i am just so weird.

so the tv is on the floor, i spent the day on the couch mostly. i finished 'the pillars of the earth' by ken follett. fantastic book. everyone should read it. still havent finished prozac nation. i cant read too much at once. i get too sad and have to stop. so its nearly done and waiting on the coffee table for me to pick it up again.

the coffee is making itself in the kitchen, the washing is folded and the dishes are done. it snowed for a bit here today, but its melted again.

i need to go brush my teeth. they feel weird. and then im going to have some coffee and wait like some pathitic person for kat to come home. she'll be here in about 10 - 15 minutes.
