Knives were the worst.

Someone else might have expected Issei to scream like a little girl when he saw that his opponent was armed, but that person didn't know Issei's determination to make him pay. He meant it when he said that he was going to aim for dismemberment, but that was easier if Michael couldn't move correctly

Michael's grin when he heard that as not a nice thing. The monk had been a surprise - Michael wasn't expecting the karate, nor Issei's inability to stay still - but really, it couldn't have ended in any other way.

He twirled one knife absently in his hand and said, "I'm sorry, what was that? You wanna say that again?"

[stripping]

Ugh, some people. "You won, Trinity. I'm not going to attack you any longer." Issei tried not to sound too pissed off, or Michael might have just kept on with the knives.

"That's what I thought." You were right about his ego, Issei. He gestured at the other with his knife, hoping it would serve as a reminder. "And what have we learned from all of this?"

"Today I've learned that it's a bad idea to threaten to castrate someone when they're better at fighting than you are." Thankfully, Issei didn't think that applied to Shinji. "Is that what you mean?"
