"I don't know what to do in this situation," Issei explained, gripping his drink (water) tightly. He was considering clinging to Birkin, the only familiar person in this whole place

Birkin was grinning slightly, already a bit buzzed from the mojito he was given. Rum drinks did not do good things to him. Ever.
For once, Birkin had actually spent some time on his appearance and showered and left his bloodstained labcoat at home. "Don't worry about it, Issei! I promise you, if anyone tries anything, I'll kick their ass, alright?" He chuckled softly, sipping on his drink. "Hika-Huka-rudo, or whatever his name is, will still have you in the morning. Just because you're with someone doesn't mean that you can't go out without including them." Which completely explained why Birkin had snuck off the island leaving behind a very non-specific note saying he needed to go pick up a few things at a store for several hours.
He turned back to the bartender. "Hey, can I get another one of these?" Oh yeah, he was going to be in trouble~
"Just... Go up to some guy and flirt a bit, okay?"
"Haruto," Issei corrected mildly. He remembered the name of Birkin's boyfriend, why couldn't Birkin do the same for him? ...Well, possibly because he was sober. "I-I suppose I can."
He hesitated a moment before getting to his feet and inching over to someone around his age who was sitting alone at the bar. "E-excuse me. May I, I mean, could I, w-would it be possible for me to buy you a drink and if you say no that's completely okay really?"
"No, no, no!" Birkin stumbled over, putting his arm over Issei's shoulders. "Excuse us for just a feeeew seconds, okay?" he said to the kid Issei was just talking to before turning them around and leaning in closer to the monk. "Confidence is key. No one's going to say yes if that's your attitude! But keep the stuttering. The stuttering thing works for me too, usually. Here, just let me show you."
Birkin turned around and flashed his best smile, giggling a bit. "Hi there, any chance I could buy you a drink? These things with the mint are killer!" The kid looked at Birkin like he was crazy before getting up walking off. "...That would have worked if I was cute like you, and not old enough to be his father."
He scanned the crowd for a second before finding someone leaning against the wall by himself. "Aha! That one! Try that one." Birkin pointed him out with a smirk.
"I'm not cute!" Issei protested automatically, glaring slightly at the older man. "And you're not that bad, comparatively speaking... Alright, I'll go off and try him."
He approached his new target with his head held- if not high, at least above floor level. "E-excuse me, may I buy you a drink?"
Okay better, better, at least Issei was good at learning. Birkin smiled, watching him like a hawk just in case anything happened. Though the guy Issei was talking to didn't seem to be some kind of creepy rapist or anything. And when some guy walked up to him and started talking, what was Birkin supposed to say? 'Buzz off, jackass, I'm stalking that kid'? How much trouble could Issei get into in one minute?
"You look kinda young," the guy said, smiling slightly lecherously. "How about I buy us both drinks and you can just pay me back for it in a bit?"
"Eh? Are you sure about that?" Issei blinked, innocent as ever. He really didn't belong in any kind of social situation that required the ability to sense innuendo. "If you would be so kind, I suppose I have no choice but to pay you back for them."
He appreciated Birkin's presence, still. But how much trouble could he get into in one minute?
The guy smirked before walking off and buying a pair of pink cosmopolitans to bring back to Issei. Birkin was excitedly chatting away about his work with the man who'd walked up to him, so he didn't even notice when Issei's pseudo-date was right behind him.
"Here you are~" He handed the monk the drink with a smirk. "So, what's your name and where in the world do you get your hair done?" On Birkin's world, blue hair was a bit of a deal.
"It's a natural trait. It runs in my mother's side of the family, it's fairly rare," Issei explained, feeling a little relieved now that he wasn't actively flirting. He took a sip of his drink to be polite. Not bad - a little sweet. "My name is Issei Ryudo. And yours would be?"
"Mike. Just call me Mike." He snickered to himself. This kid obviously wasn't a drinker but he was so focused on being polite that one cosmo should get him to loosen up enough. 'Mike' pouted slightly. "What? You don't like the drink? Shit, I should have asked you what you liked." He lightly punched the wall they were standing next to. "I always fuck shit up like that!"
Birkin turned around for a second to check on Issei, and he looked fine standing next to that guy, so he just turned back and kept on talking with his current companion.
"No, that isn't it!" Issei answered with widened eyes, reaching out to lightly rest a hand on Mike's shoulder with his free hand. "I just don't drink very often... It's good, though, don't worry." He took another sip. "I like it very much, thank you.
"Really?" Mike smiled shyly, resting a hand on Issei's, slightly more intent on keeping it in place. "I'm glad." He took a sip too. "Well, drink up, you don't want it to get warm! Trust me, vodka fucking sucks when it's not cold!" He laughed good-naturedly, wondering just how much of this the blushy little blue-haired kid was buying.
"I'll trust you on that." Issei took a large gulp of his drink, following his new 'friend's' advice. "I'm not certain how much I can drink of this, actually. I get tipsy very easily. I don't want you to waste your money, however, and I promise I'll pay you back the full amount."
Now that was just the sort of shit Mike wanted to hear. "Here, let me make sure you don't start falling over or anything." He smirked devilishly, and wrapped an arm around Issei's back, holding him tightly just in case he tried to get away. "Oh I'm not worried about that. I'm sure you'll pay me back like a good boy."
"I'm not that bad... I think." Issei laughed; if he'd had any experience in matters like this, alarm bells would have been ringing at Mike's tight grip and expression. "What exactly do you want from me, anyway? I don't think I ever asked."
Mike's smirk somehow widened. This kid was just so adorably naive. "Don't worry about that. You'll like it too." Mike leaned in quickly, roughly pressing his lips to Issei's before grinding their hips together.
Birkin chose that moment to turn around. Not really knowing who had initiated all that, but having a vague feeling it wasn't Issei, he decided to keep watching for the time being to try and figure it out.
Issei's entire face went red as he stammered and started shaking. H-he'd kissed him, and was, was doing other things that should really be reserved for the bedroom! Was he talking about sex the entire time?! Dear merciful Buddha...
Issei struggled in Mike's grip for a few seconds unsuccessfully. "I, I'm sure you're a very nice man, b-but could you please stop that now?"
