Cloverfield was awesome

Saw Cloverfield with James on Saturday.  It's an exceptional movie.  Aparently, it's too complicated for some people, such as the greasy teens that were sitting behind us.  Some people won't be happy unless the monster is interviewed at the end of the movie and they're told exactly what it's motivation was and where it came from.  This is why SOL scores are so damn bad.

A lot of the movie is explained in the viral marketing campaign that led up to the release.  The characters had MySpace pages and there are two company websites based on the fictional Japanese companies mentioned in the movie (Slusho is one) that gives clues to what's going on.  If you pay attention and think for a minute, you might notice something.  Also, the first-person perspective of the movie and real-time events made it very engaging.  This is a horror-survival movie.  I guess people are to used to crap like Saw to see what a real scary movie is like.

Basiscally, if you don't like Cloverfield, you're a moron.  It's not a matter of opinion, it's fact.  This movie is good.
