(no subject)
On Saturday, I was too lazy to cook dinner, but couldn't figure out what kind of take-out food I wanted instead. I knew I didn't want pizza, and I couldn't find the menu for my favourite Chinese place, and instead I found the menu for the Thai place. And it turned out that what I wanted was mango salad! (Also, fresh rolls, tofu vegetables, and a mango smoothie.) Yummy.
A similar thing happened to me tonight, in the middle of The Big Bang Theory. I would never have guessed that what I wanted most was for Penny and Sheldon to sing sea shanties while making sparkly hair barrettes. BUT IT WAS. I love Penny and Sheldon together so much. But not in a romantic way. I am full on Leonard/Penny. But I love the odd-couple friendship of Penny and Sheldon. Eeeeeeeeee!!
And then it happened again in the middle of How I Met Your Mother. Barney and Marshall in nightgowns shirts, for the win! Also, I really loved Robin in this episode. I mean, most of her awesomeness was on the muted television, but it was pretty awesome.
