Hmm. Have just read this long argument, and tangentially, does anyone know if the Canadian versions of the HP books are the same as the British ones, or did we get the Americanized ones? I could probably figure this out on my own, except for I'm not quite sure how. So if someone just wants to do the work for me, that'd be great

Canadians get the brit versions of the books, because all the spellings have our extra 'u', a sweater is a 'jumper' and dessert is 'pudding'.

Yes, and our first book was the Philosopher's Stone vs the US version the Sorcerer's Stone.
