(no subject)
So. Have watched American Idol, because joeynerd said it was weird that I didn't. And it was interesting, but I can't watch it. The whole thing left a big knot in my stomach. I got all tense, and everyone's so mean, except for Paula Abdul who's so nice, and no. Can't do it.
And then I saw a very short clip of 'Hold My Hand' by Hootie & the Blowfish and got all teary-eyed.
Also, everyone's talking about the JC/Lance heyday and making me nostalgic, and also making me remember how very much this fandom has changed, and how much my dislike of Lance!fic in general can pretty much entirely be blamed on the fact that I came in through the JC/Lance ranks at a time when everyone but me hated JC (or at least that's how it seemed) and hey, remember when Bobbie was the most vilified person ever? Hee.
