How does it feel to have New York take over your town?!

So needless to say, I am still gloating about my fall out boy concert. I gladly wear my bruises and I limp with enthusiasm, why? Because I. Met. Pete. Three very simple but most enjoyable words that I scream out every chance I have.

However, this was a very eventful night and I feel we need a recap. Yes. A nice little recap. The show started off with a band called The Sleeping however I've never heard of them, but apparently they're well known and people were singing along.. and they weren't too bad. The only thing that was bad about it was that the guitarist that was on our side of the stage decided to dive into the crowd, right on top of me and Trisha's heads. And since at that point there was still 2 really tall guys infront of me and Trisha, we never saw this guy coming. It hurt. bad. However he made up for this later, but I'll get to that in a minute. During their set I noticed their other guitarist which unfortunately was like on the complete opposite side as we were, but he was hot. Hooooottttt. And seeing as after me and Trisha got out of the pit after Fall Out Boy and went over and got our shirts and stuff that we were going to buy and of course water, because we were dieing, we are walking past this booth and the guitarist that dived right on our heads starts talking to me and trisha (This is how he made it up to me) and asks if we want to buy a CD. Trisha tells him she doesn't have the money for  a CD, seeing as it was $10 and I tell him I'll buy it if he'll sign it. He did. That was kick ass. And after Taking Back Sunday was done playing, we got the rest of the band to sign my CD and the poster Trisha bought of them (yes, this includes hot guitar guy whom also has a got new york accent to go with it. yes. i was drooling). So, that was our experience with The Sleeping. Maybe we'll have to go see them sometime, I still haven't gotten a chance to listen to their CD. Sometime this week though, SOMETIME!

Now, where was I? ah yes. Matchbook Romance came out next, and I've heard of them but I really haven't heard a lot of their music, and it wasn't too bad. And, as a bonus, the drummer and the lead singer I noticed were pretty fucking hot. It's always nice to go to a show and see hot guys that you don't expect. Esspecially if they're in a band. There's something about a guy holding a guitar that makes him scrumptious. Mmmmmm. But moving on to the best part of the Matchbook Romance set, Pete had a surprise visit! during one of their songs, Pete comes running out on stage and sings a part of their song and not only does he do that, but he jumps down RIGHT in front of us. yes, those were some kick ass pictures we had from that.

And of course, moving on to one of my favorite parts of the night, when Fall Out Boy came on. So many things to comment on, Patricks tight pants (and I mean tight), the way Pete mimicked the lyrics with his hands and looked so happy while doing it, or perhaps, one of my favorite moments - when Pete spit water onto Patricks face. He stopped singing and had the most disgusted look anyone could muster. He looked like he'd kick his ass right then and there if he could. The boys ended up playing about 10 songs - (Saturday, Grand Theft Autumn/Where is your boy, Tell that Mick he just made my list of things to do Today, Chicago is so two years ago, The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes, Nobody puts baby in the corner, Calm before the storm, The Pros and Cons of breathing, Dead on arrival and a new song which was pretty good) - The second best thing about this night was when pete decided to get down again and get up on the guard rail right in front of me and Trisha. Oh yes. I got to feel up Pete, and you know I did.

Now, onto the part that you all knew was coming.. but of course, you always save the best for last right? Coming out of that concert we decided we'd hang out by the tour busses for awhile, I mean, we weren't in any hurry to get home, it was nice to be outside and there was a big crowd of people around. We were standing out there for like 10 minutes when these 2 guys start coming toward us, and as they're walking past me and Trisha we're both like "Is that Joe?" it totally was. He walked through a CROWD of people and no one recognized him. Poor boy. Me and Trisha probably would have said something had he not been walking with a guy we didn't know, how rude to interupt a conversation.. but looking back on it now, it's like damnit! We were there for i'd say a lot longer and The Sleeping came out so we got to see them again, and then Matchbook Romance came out and Taking Back Sunday.. and when TBS came out it was like, huh..where the hell is fall out boy. and then it dawned on me and Trisha that they were on the OTHER tour bus across the street. So we start walking towards my car which is in the direction of the other tour bus and we see Andy sitting on the street with a bunch of fans and we look up to see Pete by the bus swinging his keys around yelling "Oh yeah?! You like Taking Back Sunday huh?!!?" and me and Trisha I swear, froze. like omg. thats pete. omg. OMG. And we missed him, he went inside before we could be like HEY! because a stupid car was coming. We went over and stood on the corner in utter disbelief at how we had JUST missed our chance to meet Pete, my love. I could have cried. I was so cold at that point seeing as my shirt was still wet from the mosh pit so I put on my hoodie that I bought, and out walks Pete again. The gods smiled down upon me and Trisha and we got to meet him. He had his arm around me in a glorious moment which will never be forgotten.

It's okay to be jealous, I would be too.
