Home
So I've been home for a few weeks now. Still waiting for my work schedule to work out. I've been picking up extra hours in the meantime, working mostly at Pooh Corner and Mickey's Pantry. I've been working 40 hours a week, but it's all been at night, and not in my home store =(. But that's ok, I'm just happy to be making money. Phil and I are enjoying the apartment! It's really become our home. It'll be weird when Katie gets here. Her parents have been generously paying a third of the bills, even after I insisted that it wasn't necessary. They're really great people. It's not that I don't want Katie here, it's just that we've gotten so used to this being OUR home, it'll take a while for it to feel normal with her living here, that's all. We've been using her room to store all the crap we need to get rid of lol. We're gonna have to get rid of it soon. She's moving in sometime next month!
I sent an email apology to Erin (well, kind of an apology). I told her that I really was sorry for looking in her LJ, BUT, I was still upset about the incredible lies that I found, that others were reading, and also, I reminded her that she only found out I was reading her LJ because SHE READ MINE, and saw in it that I was reading hers. So we're both at fault, except my journal wasn't fool of lies. So I guess it was only halfway an apology. I'm really not angry anymore, though, although it sounds that way lol. I certainly was, though, when I got home. She never responded to the email, but I don't really care. After everything that happened, I don't really want to see her again.
Phil and I both have the day off today! We've got lots to do. We need to go grocery shopping, I need to get my hair cut, and the apartment needs to be cleaned. It's not in bad shape, but the kitchen needs to be mopped, and the floors need to be vacuumed, and I need to clean the bathroom. I was surprised how much time it takes daily to keep a clean house!
Phil's been teaching me to cook, so I don't starve while he's at that flute event next week, lol. I can make bread now! And other stuff too. I'll miss him next week, but after being in Spain for a month, I don't think it'll be a huge deal. Except that I have to get him to the airport by SIX AM!! And then I work at 1pm. That'll be fun lol. Ok well till next time!
