If there's one thing I've learned from all this, it's how much people see only what they want to see. Not to mention a pretty damn sobering illustration of priorities.

::shrugs:: It happens. People cross each other's lines all the time. The trick is finding the reason behind them, instead of trying to maintain a bad idea of people.

And that is saying a LOT, coming from me. I don't really like people.
