What a delightful story. I love everything about it -- it's one of those ones where if I highlighted everything I loved I'd quote back over half the story -- but I especially loved all the time travels mash-ups, Nate getting Memento, and how perfectly his time experience explains him getting out of the Humvee during the firefight. Perfect Nate, perfect Brad, so enjoyable. <3

Glad you liked it! I think the firefight bit was what got me to write it in the first place. Clearly we've discovered his secret.

Oh this was exquisite, I have such huge love for timetravelfic!! You write it in a way that it makes sense, even in canon. And let me quote something back to you which is a weird thing to choose, but I just loved the moment so much

"Look at that knee," she said. "We're going to have to amputate."

Nate was scared and trying to figure out what 'amputate' meant until she kissed him on the kneecap and suddenly it felt better. Amputation was nice, apparently.
