H50 Day! Calloo! Callay!
Speaking of WIP memes, the winner-by-a-tooth in the poll was At Girls Who Wear Glasses, so to celebrate Steve and Danny Day (aka Monday), enjoy the extant bit of that fic. There isn't any more yet! Porn is hard, okay? I haven't been on my game since December. But then if you think I write a lot of porn in the first place, you're clearly new here. See? I don't want you to get spoiled and get expectations.
Steve's phone buzzed on the kitchen table, lighting up with a text from Chin. He set down his coffee cup to grab it and frowned at the screen; it wasn't as clear as it should have been, and it had been bugging him for a while. Cleaning hadn't fixed it, but maybe the screen protector was scratched to hell or something.
Danny appeared in front of him and pulled his phone out of his hand, holding it three feet away. "Can you read it now?" Danny asked.
"Give me that," Steve snapped, stealing it back. He caught himself holding it almost at arm's length and Danny laughed at him.
"My glasses are in that case, on top of the book there," he said in a tone that would never belong to an actual good samaritan.
Steve tried to stare Danny down, but Danny just stared right back, arms crossed and eyebrow raised. Steve didn't break eye contact as he reached for the case and opened it. He made sure to glare at Danny as he put the glasses on, and then he picked up his phone again to look at Chin's text.
"Better?"
"Absolutely not." It was totally better but Steve was taking that admission to the grave. He could see now that Chin's text was about Pro Bowl tickets.
"Should I call an eye doctor for you, or are you going to do it yourself?"
"I've got it, Mom."
Danny kissed Steve's forehead, still grinning, and plucked the glasses off of his face. When Danny left the room, Steve waited a second to be sure he was gone and then grabbed his phone again to text Chin back. He squinted at the screen before holding it out at arm's length.
Danny was an insufferable know-it-all who was not getting a ticket to the Pro Bowl.
