This English paper is not going to get written. Just like that french paper from earlier in the year, it will remain curled in my head with various topic sentances crashing around among remnants of paragraph body and self-hatred. "That's poetic. That's pathetic." Grr. My french prof (after *he* asked *me*) wasn't there for our meeting, so I will do what I intended to do in the first place, namely let the thing go. I will talk to my Eng. prof about the paper, and see what she says. At this point, if I finish it tonight and turn it in tomorrow, I will be docked almost 20% from the overall grade. Is it even worth the effort it would take to make myself make an effort (that sentance makes sense HAR!) ? I will talk to her and see what she says. Sigh. My good class...fallen so far...boo fucking hoo.
I may have stumbled upon a place to live for spring term. Go me! I need to look into how many credits I should take. Academic counselors. Gah! So many people to talk to.
Okay. "Let it go. Let it go honey. There, I felt it, it's gone." Siiiiiiiigh. We're doing TS Eliot's "Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" tomorrow. Die die die. It's one of my favorite poems and Stupid Let's-all-treat-poetry-like-algebra-because-there's-no-room-for-objectivity-in-straightforward-things-like-that Prof is going to make me want to blow things up. My plan: I will bring a crossword and say snarky things to no one...since my friend in that class isn't speaking to me. And I don't know why, because she isn't speaking to me. That's what pisses me off the most. Grr. "Do I dare to eat a peach? / I will wear white flannel trousers and walk along the beach. / I will hear the mermaids singing each to each / I do not think that they will sing to me."
One more thing, of very high importance and great philisophical value:
After watching Breakfast On Pluto and Batman Begins, I have determined that I prefer Cillian Murphy as a woman. Also, that Christian Bale rocks my world and has versatility like whoa; and Morgan Freeman is God (cuz he's awesome, and also because haha who's seen Bruce Almighty? Yeah.). Spiderman is still better, though.
