These last few weeks have been worktastic. Last week was super fun, in that I would babysit during the day and head on over to Twin Lakes at night. Yay for 14 hour work days. But, who am I kidding? Eating chocolate pudding for lunch and building Lego fortresses isn't really work...
My mom just got a job at Twin Lakes as a bartender. My boss, Katie, is really excited to have someone her own age to work with. My mom works at an elementary school during the week, but she figured making some extra cash on the weekends couldn't hurt. It should be interesting working with her, though. I hope she doesn't make fun of my small bosoms in front of everyone- like she does just about everyday at home.
Last week I stayed up in Leonard with Emily because her parents left town. It was pretty fun. I mean, aside from the obvious fun factor and goings on that the absence of parents brings to us teenagers, I kind of liked living on my own, which made me even more excited to go back to school. We emerged from the week long party with few casualties- although someone did suffer and broken ankle, and a few plastic chairs got shredded.
I went to Motor City Guitar yesterday. SOOOOOOO much awesomer than Guitar Center will ever be. I mean, come on- any store that offers a three necked guitar- featuring a twelve, seven and six string- is a good store in my book. I learned a bit of theory last week, so I tested some of that out on some pretty bad ass electric guitars. Someday, I will have one...siiiiigh...
I hung out with Anna last night, which was way fun. I still gotta track down Stieny and Beth before this summer is over, though. Girls: you can run, but you can't hide! Muhahahahahahaha...
